How to sell a device or return it to Calyx Institute

If your hotspot arrives in an unexpected condition, please take pictures and email them to help@calyxinstitute.org immediately so we can address the situation. Any issues with the appearance or function of the hotspot reported beyond 5 days after delivery will need to be addressed through the existing warranty process.

Your hotspot membership includes the hotspot device for you to keep. If you don’t use the device any more, you can sell it, give it away, or return it to us.

In order to sell the device or give it away, you should first contact Mobile Citizen to unlock the device so it can be used on other carriers.

If you are willing to donate the device back to us, we can refurbish it and pass it on to a community member in need. You can send it back to the following address:

Unfortunately, we don’t have a system yet in place to send you pre-paid postage for the return, but we promise to make good use of the device if you do return it.
